A boy and his grandfather had taken a long drive out to the desert for the day.
Nightfall was fast approaching and the old trucks' gas tank was on the low side.
They hopped into the truck to head for home, and before long came upon a fork in the road.
They couldn't recall which of the two roads led back home.
They decided to pray, and both received the same answer as to which road to take.
Traveling down the right road, they quickly came to a dead end.
Perplexed the boy questioned his grandfather as to why they both felt prompted to choose this road, which was definitely the wrong road.
To which the grandfather replied, "Sometimes the wrong road can help you to quickly know which one is the right one."
Sometimes in life there may not be a right or wrong decision.
Sometimes it's just about choosing something and sticking with it.
But, rest assured, if you choose the "wrong" path, trust that you will figure it out and get back on the right one quickly.
This is the nature of life.
Nothing has gone wrong.
This is one way that we learn and grow.
Especially if you're anything like me.
