Nature Nurture (orchid) Brought to you from Crayola Colors of Kindness Series

When I was in grade school, I distinctly remember reading about Johnny Appleseed and feeling delighted, as well as fascinated, about one tiny apple seed growing into a mature tree and producing countless more apples with seeds.

Nature is such a beautiful example of the abundance in the universe and the potential in a tiny seed.

Like a seed, you are full of potential.

In order unleash that potential, a seed needs five things: soil, water, sunlight, temperature, and time.

Take a moment and ponder one of your "seeds" that you have planted or want to plant.

(This is a place of metaphor and play. Let this be fun and imaginative.)

Once you have a seed in mind, ask yourself the following questions:

What is the "fertile soil" one could plant this idea/dream/goal into?

What could I water it with?

What is the "sunlight" I choose to shine on my "seed"?

How do I protect this "seed" from extreme environments, and what might they be?

How patient do I need to be with this process? Am I allowing enough time, or too much time, for my "seed" to germinate and grow?

We all have massive potential in our lives, and that is all it will be until we choose to act.

I invite you to choose one thing to focus on and practice this process intentionally.

"Some seeds remain seeds and never access their potential within them." Brooke Castillo
